Do you RECOGNIZE?

Dec 15

Today I did my favorite exercise: walking with God in the park near the sea :-) Wow, every time the nature there is so different… and every time it is so beautiful! How unlimited the creativeness of its Artist is!? My heart was filled with gratitude to God for the opportunity and privilege to see it, to walk in it, to be part of His creation, to touch and smell it… My heart was singing the song for Him “How great You Are…” And tears from joy were in my eyes. I couldn’t find the words to say to God. But it’s good that He can see my thoughts… and there was only “THANK YOU”.

People look for miracles from God. They say “I will believe if I see”. But don’t they see the miracles yet around themselves? Maybe not. Only those that can SEE God’s miracles are able to RECOGNIZE them. Only those that can SEE God’s love are able to RECOGNIZE it.

We tend to forget that happiness doesn’t come as a result of getting something we don’t have, but rather of RECOGNIZING and APPRECIATING what we do have.   ~Fredrick Koeing

People see God every day, they just DON’T RECOGNIZE Him.  ~Pearl Bailey

When we recognize His deals, we become thankful to Him. And it touches the very heart of God and encourages Him to shower even more blessings upon us. A thankful heart is truly a floodgate to the blessings and goodness of God in our lives!

Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart. ~ (Ps.37:4)

No eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him ~ (1 Corinthians 2:9)

If “thank you” is the only prayer you say, that will be enough.  ~Meister Eckhart

All that we behold is full of blessings.  ~William Wordsworth

If you want to turn your life around, try thankfulness. It will change your life mightily.  ~Gerald Good

There is always, always, always something to be thankful for.  ~Anonymous

Happiness is itself a kind of gratitude.  ~Joseph Wood Krutch

People who live the most fulfilling lives are the ones who are always rejoicing at what they have.  ~Richard Carlson

P.S. Here is a characteristic of unthankful people :-( They will naturally have negative personalities, find it easy to complain about little things, or easily become moody. They are known to be bitter or unforgiving towards themselves, God or other people.  They are always looking down upon themselves or suffer from low self-esteem. They are never satisfied with what they have been given, but always want more. They don’t take care of the things God has given them.
